Our products are custom made to your exact specifications. It is important that you are sure of your purchase decisions prior to finalizing your order. We place your order with the manufacturer and automatically charge your credit card for the total sale price, including shipping, immediately after you complete your online order. Unless there is a delay in placing your order for a specific reason, an order received from you before 4 P.M. Eastern Standard Time will normally begin production the morning of the next day. Because these window treatments will be custom made to customer's specification, they cannot be returned for any reason except for warranty repair.
Record accurately which measurement is the width and which measurement is the height. It is very common to transpose these measurements. Product measurements, style selections, and colors are the responsibility of the customer and should be carefully reviewed before ordering.
Changes or cancellations are not possible once production has begun.
If Your Order is Defective or Made Incorrectly
If any part of the order shipment is defective or made incorrectly by the manufacturer, notify Blinds To Your Door�s Customer Service and provide the following information:

How to replace missing or damaged parts?
If a component (wand, valance clip, hardware, etc.) is missing from your shipment, call Customer Service. To ensure prompt and accurate service, please have your original purchase information available. The original purchase information is recorded on the packing list, the installation parts list or the troubleshooting tips sheet that shipped with your blinds. If none of the items listed above are available, the original order information is also printed on a label inside the top rail of your blind. This will provide all the information needed to process your request.
If the Carton is Visibly Damaged in Transit
Before accepting any shipment, we recommend that you examine the carton carefully. If the carton shows any sign of damage (i.e.: bent, punctured, torn, etc.) you can either refuse the shipment or accept the shipment noting damage at the time of receipt. Contact Customer Service and provide the confirmation number. (This is the six-digit number located on the upper right hand corner of the packing list).
How do I get warranty and repair information?
Please contact the Customer Service Dept for warranty and repair information between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., EST, M-F, or email Customer Service.
To ensure prompt and accurate service, please have the information from the top rail of your blind or shade written down before calling. This gives our Customer Service Representatives the information they need to process your warranty claim.
Shipping cost is free within the lower 48 states. Orders shipped within the 48 states that exceed the size limitations (blinds wider than 102") will have an additional freight fee of $45 from the carrier. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or Mexico will have additional freight charges added to the final order. If there are other charges [duty, brokerage, or taxes] that are due when the product is shipped to your country, the payment of these charges will be your responsibility.
Although we make every effort to assure that our prices and products are advertised as accurately as possible, pricing errors may occur with the constant manufacturing of new products and styles. In the event an error is made, we reserve the right to correct it.
Production / Shipping Time
Production time can vary depending on the product ordered but is typically 72 hours from the time the order is processed. Shipping time is typically 2-5 days after production and depends on your distance from the manufacturer's facilities. If you order different products, these may be shipped separately.
There will be no sales tax collected on orders shipped outside of the state of New York. Consumers must check the tax laws governing the states in which they live. There will be a sales tax of approx 8% on orders shipped within the state of New York.
Order Confirmation / Payments
Confirmation of orders are sent by e-mail within 24 hours excluding holidays and weekends. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal, check or money order. Due to the products being custom made to your specifications, credit card orders are paid in full at the time of ordering and are processed the same day the confirmations are sent. Payment by check will require the check to clear your bank before processing the order. Note that credit card will list Blinds To Your Door on your billing statement as the seller.
Discontinued and/or Back Ordered Items:
At times, products or colors are discontinued or placed on backorder by the manufacturers with whom we work. We will make every effort to remove discontinued items as soon as we are made aware of them and will notify you whenever we receive notice of any backorders
Although we do our best to make sure that the colors printed on our web site are accurate, actual colors will vary. Colors and Textures may not be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can't be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. If an exact color match is required, then please request a sample before placing your order. Once you receive your sample, keep in mind that all samples may still have minimal color variations as stated by the manufacturers. All products are non-returnable due to color unless in the event the manufacturer fabricates the incorrect color.
